The Ljubljana Aircargo Centre
The Ljubljana Aircargo Centre is an independent cargo services agent, operating from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. We provide handling and document services for cargo in accordance with the rules and regulations that apply in air transport.
Logistic services
The Ljubljana Aircargo Centre carries out the following services:
- Cargo handling for cargo aircraft
- Cargo handling for passenger aircraft
- Road feeder service (RFS) for air and other cargo
Ground handling in the air transport of goods
All of the activities above are carried out in line with IATA standards, which govern the contractual relations for ground service during air transport of goods (airside handling):
- Handling cargo and mail
- Hadling special types of shipments (hazardous substances, live animals, valuables etc.
- Document preparation
- X-ray examination of goods
- Supervision of ULD equipment
- Customs control
- Border inspection control
- Servicing transit shipments by truck/aircraft
- Other services by arrangement
Other logistics services
Aircargo Centre also carries out logistics services before or after air transport (landside handling):
- Preparing shipments for air transport
- Warehousing
- Customs warehousing
- Repackaging of goods
- Protection of goods by wrapping etc.
We work with many carriers and freight forwarders
We carry out cargo handling services for many airlines: Air France, Air Serbia, Lufthansa, Cargolux, Turkish Airlines, Finnair, Swiss, Aeroflot etc.
Due to the high quality of our services, we have developed excellent business relations with many freight forwarding companies in Slovenia and abroad. We hold permits to act as an authorized consignor of dutiable goods, as an authorized consignee and to declare goods based on local clearance procedures at import.

Location and working hours
Cargo handling services are carried out during airport working hours - between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm
Working hours for receiving/handing over cargo and other warehouse logistics services:
Monday to Friday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
The warehouse can be opened outside of normal working hours by prior arrangement. A written request to that purpose should be submitted at least 12 hours in advance to warehouse manager Tomaž Janežič.
